This is an actual picture taken of a clown fish (aka Nemo) swimming through a sea anenomae.
One of the many things I appreciate so much about this wonderful city is the constant presence of art and culture, bringing it to the people and making it accesible to everyone, not just those that can afford it. At Luxembourg Garden, for as long as I've been here, there has been a photography exhibit along the north east corner of the gates from the main entrance on blvd St Michel to the entrance to the Senat or French government. Every exhibit is unique and extraordinary, leaving pedestrians spellbound by their beauty. This most recent exhibit looks more like a cross between Finding Nemo and a sci-fi horror movie with the most spectacular and some of the most horrifying creatures under the sea. Enjoy...
and with a tip of my hat to the illustrious eggbeater, "The egg, the greatest of inventions..."

Oh, yes, we will be staying so close to there September/October and I dearly love Luxembourg Garden!!

I didn’t show the creepy ones – enough to make you never want to put a toe in the water.

I adore the outdoor exhibitions on the Luxembourg Garden fence - it's always a surprise to see what will be up when you walk past (on my annual visit, that is!). I rememebr very clearly that the first time I saw Yann Arthus-Bertrand's "Earth from the Air" exhibit was summer 2000 at the Luxembourg Gardens. It felt as if I had stepped into a parallel universe - these incredible pictures, a warm Paris night and people strolling up and down the pavement admiring them - for free! It was one of my best travel memories ever.
And yes - the clownfish is one of the most amazing pics in the current exhibition :-)
