New York's first Greenmarket launched in 1976 and has grown, pun intended, into 54 strong throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island. The largest market at Union Square is open 4 days a week with up to 175 farmers participating -- all organic! It's not my little Place Monge market and no foie gras man to give me a hug and a few samples, but it's pretty darn good.

I really like the purple broccoli. I need to buy seeds. Please advise if you selling it? And how I can buy it?
