Roasted Chestnut stand at the entrance to Luxembourg Gardens ~ November 2006
Thank you for that photo — I can smell Paris and feel the breeze on my face with that one. I hope we will get to Paris in the late fall or early winter some time.

What a beautiful post. My family roasted chestnuts "over an open fire," in fact, a few holidays ago and they were wonderful.

A wonderful feeling in Paris: Having a warm packet of "Marrons Chauds" in your hands and the biting cold in your face. A lovely illustrative photo!
