I met a friend today for lunch at a small sushi place off Rue St. Honore called Foujita (7 rue de 29 juillet, 75001, 01 49 26 07 70). The sushi was fabulous, the place was packed, and the service was about as rude as it gets. So rude it became funny. And on the way back to the metro I walked past Michel Cluizel's chocolaterie. It took every ounce not to run in and roll around in this a la Alfred Molina in Chocolat. Enjoy....!
Ooooh, I'm drooling on my keyboard. That's just not fair ;)

I love that sushi restaurant. The sushi is authentic and not too expensive – a rarity in Paris! However, the service is always rude. It often feels like a cattle call and they just want to get people moving in and out as quickly as possible. The cigarette smoke can be pretty horrible too.

aren't they awful?! i was surprised at the big portions and even more surprised we were able to snag a table in the new "non-fumeur' room - two more rarities in Paris :)

Oh la la!!! That is one thing I LOVE window shopping for...
I am a 'recovering" chocaholic... What temptation!! I found
a wonderful Artisanale chocolatier in the Marais.. right when
you get off the metro at St. Pau. it is to the left not more than
a few hunderd metros from the metro stop.. Delish.. try it sometime..
Maybe we can meet there when you are in town.. hehe!!
