La Vue de Ma Fenêtre ~ Sonoma Valley
This is one place I don't mind getting lost! Every turn you take is more beautiful than the next with the cherry trees in full bloom and brilliant sun searing the sky azure blue. (Click on the picture to enlarge it.)
Apologies for being so very lame in posting. I have taken a lot of pictures so will post when I can come up for air. Off to LA tomorrow, then back to Paris on Tuesday. Whew!

La Vue de Ma Fenêtre ~ Par La Fenêtre de Michel Cluizel
I met a friend today for lunch at a small sushi place off Rue St. Honore called Foujita (7 rue de 29 juillet, 75001, 01 49 26 07 70). The sushi was fabulous, the place was packed, and the service was about as rude as it gets. So rude it became funny. And on the way back to the metro I walked past Michel Cluizel's chocolaterie. It took every ounce not to run in and roll around in this a la Alfred Molina in Chocolat. Enjoy....!

La Vue de Ma Fenêtre ~ Palo Alto Leaves
These leaves were so beautiful, this picture (or more likely the person taking the picture - me!) doesn't do them justice. The red were so vibrant and the greens so deep, I stopped, grabbed my camera and started snapping. You don't see that too often in downtown Palo Alto. Paris, yes. Palo Alto, no. Hence the look of surprise on the people walking by.

La Vue de Ma Fenêtre ~ Jardin du Palais Royal
Gardens of the Palais Royal ~ Paris, November 2006
I was working out of my friend's office the other day which is in the Palais Royal. He was gazing out the window so I walked over to the window and he smiled and said, "This is as good as it gets." I love how the French take time to stop and smell the roses and appreciate life and beauty around them. The camera of course doesn't do justice to the vibrant colors of the leaves. The weather was rather wacky (read: global warming) so we didn't get the reds this year but regardelss, it was still beautiful. You couldn't see them through the trees yet but you could hear the shouts of children playing and the soothing splashing of the fountain.
